Today was school
picture day! I’ve always hated picture day! My mom would make me wear some ridiculous
polyester culotte pants and a turtle neck top! Like did she really think it was
a good idea to squeeze this big head through a turtle neck! Oh and my hair…Always
an issue either one super tight bun on top of my head or two pigtails or the
dreaded ponytail on top and ponytail on the bottom style…I wasn’t allowed to
wear my hair down till I was in high school! (Another post) And my smile I was
that awkward kid who’s adult front teeth were the only teeth that came in till
like my sophomore year in high school! Imagine that look! (and you’ll have to
do just that cause I ain’t sharin that picture!) In case you haven’t notice I
have the ability to show every single tooth in my mouth when I smile! Ugh! So
picture day for my own kids I just keep it really simple 90% of the I buy the
smallest package cause I don’t hang them
anyway do to my profession of takin my
own pictures. J I just
always hated the grayish, blueish, suckyish background. Although these days
they have the fancy backgrounds for an additional $20 bucks! So yes the children
that looked like orphans you may have seen today are mine…the mom that hates
culotte pant, turtle neck, bun too tight picture day!
